1. Thermal Receipt Printers

MEGSTAT POS supports industry-standard thermal receipt printers (including Epson, TVS Electronics, Star Micronics, Posiflex, Citizen, Everycom, and generic USB/Network POS printers):

• Paper Roll Sizes: Supports both standard 80mm (3-inch) wide supermarket receipts and compact 58mm (2-inch) boutique rolls.
• Fast Printing & Auto-Cutter: Receipts print cleanly in less than 2 seconds with automatic paper cutting.
• Custom Receipt Header & Footer:
  • Print your store logo at the top.
  • Include your Store Legal Name, Branch Address, Phone, and GSTIN.
  • Print mandatory GST breakdowns and B2B customer GSTIN.
  • Include return policies and festive greeting footers ("No exchange on discounted items", "Happy Diwali!").

2. Automatic Cash Drawers

You never have to fumble for physical keys every time a customer hands you cash!

How it Works:

1. The cash drawer plugs into the back of your thermal receipt printer using a standard RJ-11 phone-style cable.
2. Whenever a cashier completes a Cash Sale (or clicks Pay-Out or Safe Drop), the printer sends a safe electrical pulse that pops the cash drawer open automatically!
3. If the customer pays via UPI or Credit Card, the drawer remains locked to keep your cash secure.
4. Each drawer includes physical keys for manual locking at the end of the day.

3. Barcode Scanners (USB & Wireless Bluetooth)

Hardware Troubleshooting Guide

Issue	What Happened	How to Fix It
Receipt printer prints blank paper	Thermal roll is upside down	Thermal paper is coated on one side only. Open the printer cover, flip the paper roll over, and close the lid firmly.
Cash drawer does not pop open	Loose RJ-11 cable connection	Ensure the cable connecting the cash drawer to the bottom of the receipt printer is clicked in firmly. Check that the key lock on the front of the drawer is turned to the unlocked position.
Barcode scanner beeps but nothing happens	USB port sleep or wrong mode	Unplug and replug the scanner into another USB port. Ensure the scanner is configured in "Keyboard Emulation" mode (the default factory setting on 99% of scanners).
Weighing scale reading does not update	Cable loose or scale not tared	Press the TARE / ZERO button on the physical scale before placing the product. Ensure the USB communication cable is snug.
